WHAT WE DO

Today, microfinance isn't just about lending to small businesses and individuals lacking access to credit. The definition of microfinance has broadened to this:

"A world in which as everyone, especially the poor and socially marginalised people and households have access to a wide range of affordable, high quality financial products and services* "

At the LSESU's Microfinance Society, we seek to explore the concept of microfinance and understand the power of inclusive finance products as powerful tools for financial inclusion. To do this, we conduct research, host panel discussions and speaker events, and run various microfinance initiatives.
